Brave Review: Audacious

#BraveReview.

“What is your dream?”

A defining question that births many things.

The book “Audacious” by Beth Moore (@bethmoorelpm) is such a great read.

This book encourages one to be:
“AUDACIOUS: intrepidly Daring, Adventurous, Bold, marked by Originality and Verve“ in the pursuit of our dreams and The One who matters the most in this life, and the life to come. His name is Jesus.

Because everything we hope to achieve in life is always better with Him in it. Helping us to step out audaciously in our purpose and across our various fields.

With insight from her personal life experiences about being audacious and also stepping out in faith, taking steps in writing this book. You can call this a really defining moment that changed her perspective.

A wake-up call you might say. One that began with two simple questions:
1. “What is your dream?”
2. “What is your vision for the future?”

Many of us really need a wake-up call about our lives.
The lives we are currently leading.

In reading this book, you’ll learn and discover more about you because some stories shared are relatable experiences.

Urging you to become AUDACIOUS, becoming all that God has called you to be.
You’ve got to read this book.

For everyone and all who want to really live and live a full life.
Enjoy.️

Brave Review: Strategy Plain and Simple

Starting a business can be a daunting experience, but with a clearly mapped out strategy, you can obtain results that help you not only break through business barriers, but also scale in time and grow exponentially.

This is why I recommend this little but insightful book “Strategy Plain and Simple” by Vaughan Evans. Just like the title, it’s a pretty straightforward book, written in simple terms. This makes it easy to understand and implement.

It’s focused on three key areas:
1. Understanding the market.
2. Creating competitive advantage.
3. Managing risks.

These three key areas have been broken down further into small bites and explained in detail.
It’s such an insightful book that gives valuable and practical advice.

You’ve got to read this one to see for yourself.

Highly recommended for entrepreneurs, startup managers and business oriented individuals.

PS: This isn’t one of those bulky business books that may take you forever to read.
So for those who love small and insightful books, this is one of them.

Brave Review: Go For Gold

“Go for Gold” by John C. Maxwell is such an amazing book.
A little pocket sized and companion guide to “Leadership Gold”

I first came across this book in my final year as an undergraduate. It was a pivotal period in my life and the peak of my leadership experience while on campus.

It was such a great read, that you would find me smiling at myself while reading or nodding in agreement to the lessons I was being opened up to.
Curiosity got a hold of others around me that they would eventually ask about the book, as I carried it every where I went, even to our farm practice sessions. Lol!

Every chance I got, I read and it really helped me stay focused, organized and aligned as a young leader.
The small size of this book makes it so easy to read.

With a weekly schedule of 26 lessons broken into days of the work week and a notes section. Helping you reflect on what you’ve learnt, almost like a devotional.

So it’s so easy to read, even as you learn in small bites great lessons for impact as a leader.
I eventually got the main book Leadership Gold and I totally enjoyed that as well.

I highly recommend “Go for Gold” by John C. Maxwell.
It’s truly an amazing and empowering book for every leader, team member and business oriented individual.

Such a great book, full of so much actionable knowledge and much wisdom.
Gold truly!
Highly recommended.

Brave Review: Becoming

#Becoming is certainly a book worth reading.

You’ll see things with a fresh perspective.
Through the eyes of a brave black woman. The first black and First Lady of the USA (2009 – 2017), married to the 44th and first black President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

You’ll learn about her journey, her family, her history, her passions, her love, her race, her nation, her boldness, her leadership, her service, her influence, her contribution, her perseverance, her sacrifices, and so much more.

With simple, yet intimate words, you’ll also see through her humanity..How the decisions of her life, and roles through every stage of life, all leading up to the writing of her book “Becoming”; including the simple and complex details became pivotal to evolving into who she was and is even today.

In reading this book, you’ll most likely catch a glimpse of yourself.
Your own story.

One that matters so much and speaks of how incredibly powerful, strong, unique and brilliant we all are as women (and men) and how we can attain any height or achieve any feat we aspire to reach.

You’ll certainly have much to think about.

Without giving much away, you should go get the book “Becoming”, a #memoir by the #iconic and global Leader, Michelle Obama.
